Illuminati Symbolism in Missy Elliot’s New Single, WTF

Missy Elliot dropped a banger of a track this Thursday.

While I personally love the track, there’s some interesting symbolism and lyrics in the song and accompanying music video. In the quote at the beginning of this article, Pharrell William literally tells us to see through this video for a look at what it really is. And when he delivers these lines he does so as an actual puppet!

The video goes on to show the performers and dancers as puppets as well.

Missy Elliot then emerges from a grid of boxes filled with people, most asleep. The scene is reminiscent of the Matrix and implies that only a few of us are awake to the truth.

At 2:38 masked men emerge behind Missy Elliot and form a UFO with their arms; a UFO which appears to float on the screen behind her.

Is this a warning? The joke’s on us, but we can see through it if we look.
