A Gallup Poll has found that Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is the most disliked of front running candidates. Paradoxically, he is also the second best known candidate. 59% of those polled held unfavourable opinion of Trump while 91% said that they were familiar with him, a number beat only by Democrat Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Media coverage of Trump is near constant, as the man appears to be willing to say anything and everything that will attract attention, from banning Muslims to “closing up the internet.” It’s unclear why such a disliked candidate would receive so much coverage. Perhaps he’s the preferred opponent for Hillary, the heir apparent of the Clinton Dynasty and a known war hawk, censorship proponent, and friend of Wall Street banking interests.
